FS boys earn win over Beavers

West Branch High School’s freshman-sophomore boys basketball team beat the visiting Wilton Beavers 43-31 on Nov. 28.
The Bears scored double digits in the first three quarters while holding the Beavers to single-digit scoring in all but the second quarter.

The team shot 45.9 percent from the field and 48.6 percent from two-point range. The Bears also shot 52.9 percent from the free-throw line.
West Branch had 23 rebounds, 3 assists, 7 steals, 9 turnovers and 14 personal fouls.
