Police collect 60 pounds of drugs

Saturday’s drug take-back event collected about 60 pounds of prescription and expired medications, according to the City of West Branch.
Reserve Ofc. Lynn Lovetinsky reported a “steady stream of people dropping off unwanted drugs throughout the day,” read a memo from City Administrator.
There was no drug take-back event in the spring, and Saturday’s event collected about a year’s worth of medications.
