Sophomore Smith earns 13th at state golf

West Branch sophomore McGavin Smith capped off a memorable sophomore season with a 13th-place finish in the Class 2A state golf tournament with a 78-75 153 May 27-28 at Gates Park Golf Course in Waterloo.
