School menus for September 5 through 11 at West Branch Community Schools.
Student breakfast price is $1.75; lunch is $2.85 EK-8, $3.00 9-12.
Elementary schools
Thursday, September 5– B: Sausage egg on roll, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Nachos or chicken nuggets, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, refried beans, fruit.
Friday, September 6– B: Whole grain apple bites, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Cheese pizza or breaded pork patty on whole grain bun, corn, romaine salad, fruit.
Monday, September 9– B: Mini waffles, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Hamburger or hotdog on whole grain bun, baked beans, celery, fruit.
Tuesday, September 10 - B: Whole grain muffin, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Spaghetti or chicken nuggets, garlic breadstick, romaine salad, cucumber slices, fruit.
Wednesday, September 11 - B: Whole grain breakfast cookie, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Chicken strips/roll or ham & cheese on whole grain bun, corn, broccoli, fruit.
Middle-high schools
Thursday, September 5– B: Breakfast sandwich or yogurt and granola, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Nachos or chicken nuggets, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, refried beans, fruit.
Friday, September 6– B: Whole grain apple bites or yogurt and granola, cereal, fruit, fruit juice, milk. L: Cheese pizza or pork chop on whole grain bun, corn, romaine salad, fruit.
Monday, September 9– B: Mini waffles or yogurt and granola, cereal/bar, fruit, orange juice, milk. L: Hamburger or hotdog on whole grain bun, carrots, cucumbers, fruit.
Tuesday, September 10 - B: Breakfast sandwich or yogurt and granola, cereal/bar, fruit, orange juice, milk. L: Spaghetti or chicken nuggets, garlic breadstick, romaine salad, cucumber slices, fruit.
Wednesday, September 11 - B: Whole grain breakfast cookie or yogurt and granola, cereal/bar, fruit, orange juice, milk. L: Chicken strips/roll or ham & cheese on whole grain bun, corn, broccoli, fruit.
Students must take three components, one must be a fruit or vegetable. Students have choice of 1% white, skim white or chocolate skim milk. High school choices include fruit and vegetable bar.
