Vaccine: Eligible will get phone calls

Here’s a list of agencies giving out coronavirus vaccines and how they will make appointments:
• Cedar County Public Health will focus on essential workers as identified in Phase 1B, like teachers, emergency responders, police officers, the disabled, childcare workers, hospital inspectors and correctional officers. The department is trying to set up an online scheduling platform to notify the public about changes.
• Mercy Family Services of West Branch and Tipton is calling eligible patients to schedule appointments.
• Wal-Mart pharmacy in Tipton is calling customers 65 and over who live in Cedar County, working from a list provided to them by the CCPH.
• Tipton Pharmacy is calling customers 65 and over who live in Cedar County, working from a list provided to them by the CCPH.
• UnityPoint Clinic of Tipton and Clarence is calling eligible patients to schedule appointments.
