E-registration under way for school year News · July 19, 2013
Once again, West Branch Community Schools’ registration process will include only one day and everything will be done electronically.
The district will have computers set up at the high school and staff will be available for assistance, if necessary. If you would rather register online on your own time, just follow the instructions on the registration link on the school Web site www.west-branch.k12.ia.us.
If you registered your student(s) last year using e-registration through the school’s PowerSchool site, you are all set to do it again this year. To log in, enter the user name and password that you created last year, and choose the “Additional Features” icon on the left side of the screen. That will bring up the “E-Registration” icon that you will click on to get started. You will need to go through the registration process for each of your children. Don’t forget to go to the PaySchools site to pay your registration fees. If you don’t pay your fees online, print off the fees form from the Web site and mail it along with your payment to West Branch Schools, Attn: Central Office, 148 N. Oliphant St., West Branch, IA 52358 or drop it by central office, which is located in elementary school.
If you did not use the E-registration option last year, you should have received a letter giving you instructions on how to go about getting set up to do so. The first step is to set up a single login. The district has provided you with access IDs and passwords for each child. Next, there are instructions on how to register your children online. This process is done via PowerSchool so you must go through the steps of creating your new single login before you can register online.
The district hopes you find this electronic version helpful and that you find that these changes are a step in the right direction toward improving how you access your children’s information as well as making the registration process more convenient.
