Allan Giza, 52, of Stone City died at his home on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from Multiple Systems Atrophy.

Services were Tuesday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories where friends called after noon on Tuesday. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Diane; daughter Ashleigh Baker of Cedar Rapids; son Travis Baker-Giza of Cedar Rapids; two stepsons, Zachary Weber, who lives at home, and Tim Baker of Cedar Rapids; stepdaughter Alison Weber, who lives at home; his parents, Anthony and Cora Giza of Stone City; sister Cindy (Keith) Napp of Van Nuys, Calif.; half-sister Von (Mike) Galli of Urbana; special family friends Beckie Peterson and Peg Rempt; and his furry friends Liz, Misty, and Hailey.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Allan was born on Nov. 29, 1960, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Anthony and Cora Melsha Giza. He married Diane K. Bennett on July 7, 2007, in Stone City.

Allan worked at Maax Corporation for over 13 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, the Green Bay Packers and especially the time he spent with his many friends and beloved family. He was a wonderful husband, son, brother, and father whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
