Wax museum at Hoover Elementary News · May 10, 2013
The fifth-grade class will host a “Wax Museum” from 2:15 to 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, at the Hoover Elementary school gymnasium. Organized by teachers Dana Arp and Jacqui Hart, it is a combined project between social studies and writing classes. The students selected a historical figure and are researching them to write a paper.
They will then work on a costume to dress as that person, using their paper as the basis of a one-minute speech.
All of the fifth-graders will pose in the gymnasium with a dot on their hand: Press to dot to hear the first-person speech of their historical character.
