Letter: Getting the word out about agriculture issues
Op-Ed · December 21, 2012

Recently the horticulture class at West Branch High School undertook a grant project through the Nutrients For Life Foundation.
The program is centered around informing the public on the positive role of plant nutrients, fertilizers, and related agricultural issues.

As a fulfillment of this program, the Agricultural Education program and the FFA will be working with members of the community on several projects throughout the course of this school year.

Our first project is to start an informative report through the newspaper on a bi-weekly basis. Each time, you will find an informational article written by a student both in the West Branch Times, as well as our student newspaper, The Bear.

Thank you for your support, and look for our next installment!
