Advertisement School wants to increase rigor

The West Branch Community School District will be hosting a Community Forum on Monday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m., in high school auditorium and invites parents and community stakeholders to “Deepening Student Learning and District Accountability for Learning in a Standards-Based System.”
The agenda includes consideration of: What does the “achievement data” tell us?; Standards-Based Defined: Increasing Student, Teacher and District Accountability for the Learning of All Students; What a Standards-Based Teaching, Learning and Assessment System Is Not; Standards-Based Teaching, Learning and Assessment System v.
