Letter: Gas, bread, debt, GDP all spiked under Obama Op-Ed · October 12, 2012
Gas was more to my liking when it was priced at $1.85 in 2008, of course all federal sea and land is off limits now and we have $3.70 gas.
Bread is almost the same, $1.69 wheat bread is now 3.25. The national debt was $10 trillion and now is $16 trillion. The ratio of debt to gross domestic product for half a century was from 35 to 40 percent, last month we crossed to 102 percent with no hope of stopping. Greece is a little more, but we are gaining.
Can anyone explain how this helps us? It is more important you connect the dots.
Respectfully,
Wayne Frauenholtz, West Branch |
