The 2012 Homecoming court includes five king candidates and five queen candidates.




Queen candidates

Lindsey Bruns is a daughter of Paul and Nancy Bruns.

Her high school activities include National Honor Society; two years of show choir, drama club and basketball; three years of choir; and four years of student government, cross-country and track.

After high school, she plans to "go to college and get a good job!"

Her most memorable moments include softball, "Give me the keys!", campout on the track, asylum, Haley's comet, state track and standing here with Cade Jones.



Danielle Gould is a daughter of Melanie Gould.

Her high school activities include three years as football manager and basketball; show choir, wrestling manager, weight-lifting manager and newspaper staff.

After high school, she plans to attend college for performing arts or criminal justice.

Her most memorable moments include baseball games with Kristen, my talks with Jarod Tylee, sleepovers at Emily Corr's house, my best friend Rylan Murry, and my hero Paige Donohoe.



Kelli Vaughan is a daughter of Tom and Vicki Vaughan.

Her high school activities include four years of basketball, volleyball and track; two years of show choir and choir, a semester of yearbook and the National Honor Society.

After high school, she plans to attend a four-year college then go into physical therapy.

Her most memorable moments include a game-winning block at the Lisbon volleyball tournament, breaking the bed at the University of Northern Iowa basketball camp, hanging out at Camp Bozo, fanny packs and bike rides, singing Leona Lewis with Lex, 48-hour birthday with Paige, and having the best escort in Gabe Rocha.



Paige Donohoe is a daughter of Brent and Deb Donohoe.

Her high school activities include four years of volleyball, basketball and show choir; three years of softball; two years of yearbook and newspaper; and one year of National Honor Society and Bear Leadership Team.

After high school, she plans to attend the University of Missouri and "continue fulfulling my role as Danielle Gould's best friend."

Her most memorable moments include Kelli Vaughan getting the game-winning block against Clear Creek-Amana, being Yotopia's No. 1 customer, breaking at bed at the University of Northern Iowa's basketball camp, being ranked third in volleyball and playing in front of the best student section this school has ever seen.



Amber Eggers is a daughter of Dan and Lynn Eggers.

Her high school activities include four years of show choir and choir; three years of track; and a year of basketball, cross country and National Honor Society.

After high school, she plans to attend the University of Iowa for a degree in nursing.

Her most memorable moments include Swedish fish, midnight Wal-mart trips, Tomahawking, Cheyenne, Cole's shoes, and tackling Mattie Woodburn.



King candidates

Cade Jones is a son of Kerry and Leftu Jones.

His high school activities include four years of football, wrestling and track; three years of choir and Bear newspaper; a year of speech and 0.25 years of show choir.

After high school, he plans to attend a four-year university like Iowa State University, Drake University, University of Northern Iowa or Norther Illinois University to play football, major in criminology and minor in broadcast journalism.

His most memorable moments include The Dome; state wrestling; Room 116 at state wrestling; Drake Relays; state track with Mason Hays, Mike Gould and Nevin Tucker; coning; driving around Iowa City; Wendy's at midnight; shaving Dalton's hair; freight-train-a-comin'; neck wrench; The Iron Dong; Brucie; GO HOME!; Matt Damon; Xbox 360 with the wrestlers; standing here with Lindsay Bruns; AP Chem sticky notes; good times with Marisa, Max, Alex, Emylee, John and Colton.



Garett James Lynch is a son of Larry and Amy Lynch.

His high school activities include four years of football; three year of choir; two years of track and show choir; a year of golf; a year and two partial years of FFA; and 18 years of lifting.

After high school, he plans to play football for a four-year university and continue to lift every day.

His most memorable moments include going to the Dome every year, pumping iron, two-a-days with Bo and Finn, linebacker buddy with Eli, football and Reuss.



Gabe Rocha is a son of Manny Rocha and Michelle Beaver.

His high school activities include four years of golf, show choir and choir; two years of football, one year as golf captain; one year of Bear Leadership Team; and two weeks of baseball.

After high school, he plans to attend college, but he has not yet decided where.

His most memorable moments include Dirty Gabe and the boys going knee-deep in the Jeep!; the AcaFellas combeack tour!; V4K!; asking Paige out on Valentine's Day in fifth grade she said no; having the BEST escort, Kelli Vaughan!



Rylan Murry is a son of D.J. and Janice Murry.

His high school activities include four years of basketball; three years of golf and student government; one year as golf captain; and two years as student government president.

After high school, he plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Omaha and major in math to become an actuary scientist.

His most memorable moments include Alphabluebird; Yugio with Brad; President Campaign Twenty Twelve; making fun of Bo Bower; drawing pictures with Konnor; V4K, MW3; being employee of the year at Main Street Sweets; winning state basketball in sixth grade; and kicking farther than Brandon Wasion.



Cole Garret Cook is a son of Mike and Laura Cook.

His high school activities include four years of football, baseball, basketball, show choir and choir; and a year of track.

After high school, he plans to attend a four-year college.

His most memorable moments include state baseball; "You think you're running the show, cookie?"; the Dome; 27; Kickin of the cup; and Terry Ruess.
