Letter: Broken down, found great help in your city
Op-Ed · September 21, 2012

My name is Ken. I was driving from Michigan to Colorado when I lost the transmission on my truck.
I called USAA for a tow and Roberts Towing responded IMMEDIATELY and towed my truck and travel trailer into your town.

I have never met a great bunch of people like them in a long time. My travel trailer was stored at Roberts, while Virgilís Auto and Truck Repair took my truck and looked it over. It needed a replacement transmission. They located one and gave me a VERY FAIR estimate to replace it. Meanwhile, they treated me like family and even fed me. They even transported me back and forth to the Presidential Inn. It is very nice, by the way.

Virgilís had my truck up and running by the next day and remained true to the estimate. Again, a very fair price. They did not gouge me in anyway.

Robert was very kind to me as well. EXCELLENT service and very nice.

Although I had to return home to try it again, these guys saved my day. Everyone treated me great and safeguarded my property like it was their own.

I met some great people and I feel that I made some great friends at the same time. I know for a fact the next time I pass through town, I will be welcomed. I intend to stop in, even if just to say hello.

Again, many thanks to Virgilís and Roberts. You saved my butt. Both are 100-percent recommended. You can trust them.
