Anyone needing a bus route assignment whose name does not appear on one of the lists should call 319-643-5325 and speak with Transportation Director Joe Lande.
Anyone who is assigned to a route who does not plan to use bus service should complete the Bus Riding Intentions form that is provided at registration, or contact Joe Lande.
Names are listed in approximate order of pickup, except populated areas. Drivers may alter pickup order en route. Parent and student cooperation is appreciated.
Parents are urged to have their children ready when the bus arrives each day.
Drivers are instructed to stop then proceed on their routes if students are not waiting or on their way to the bus.
After school, students will ride the same bus home and will be left off where they were picked up unless a note is provided by a parent/guardian and it is approved by the Transportation Director.
Limited bus service will be used when certain roads are closed because of heavy snow or when gravel roads are breaking up, soft, and the county supervisors advise it.
Announcements will be made on radio stations WMT, KXIC and KRNA, along with television stations KGAN and KCRG as well as the parent notification system, as soon as a decision is made.
Parents are asked to bring their children to the blacktop or pavement nearest their homes.
Students may, however, ride any bus at any stop when limited routes are used. Parents should stay with their children until the bus arrives.
Calls should be directed to 643-5325 after 6 a.m. for bus route questions only, not for school closing information.
Bus times will be based on a 7 a.m. start time and last years routes. Routes may change depending on New Students and other circumstances with each route:
Route 1, Bus 16: Bob Cahill, driver
This route begins southeast of Rochester then proceeds to Rochester, KOA, Springdale and West Branch.
Families include: Borkhart, Ransford, Simpson, Tigrett, Hensen, Countryman, Willoughby, Hartz, Hartz, Spies, Sotelo, Hesseltine, Hamann, Wheeler, Hansen, Edge, Humphrey, Warden, Myers, Anderson, Kettler, Pedersen, Wright, Andrews, Butler, Kruse, Crow, Zepeda, Patel, Arruda, Wolf, Liebergen, Harpole, Farmer, McLaughlin, McKillip, Hames-Jones, Seydel, Kaufman, Knoche, Hazelwood, Eggers, Fischer
Route 2, Bus 18: Deedra Rock, driver
This route begins northeast of West Branch and proceeds to Cedar Valley south to 280th.

Route 3, Bus 1: Tom Burger, driver.
This route operates in Pheasant Run, the Mobile Home Park and North of Town on Baker Ave.
Route 4, Bus 21: Dave Rozinek, driver
This route operates in the northwest area of the district and includes Rapid Creek Road. This route will also include Bickford.
The bus will stop at 109 Bickford Drive, 133 Bickford Drive, and 166 Bickford Drive.

This route includes the southwest section of the district that includes Diltsville, Local Road, Oasis, 400th Street, Wapsi Avenue, Lower West Branch Road and Greenview.

This route covers the area south of I-80, Centerdale, Scattergood, Downey and 420th Street areas.

This Route Covers one stop in Oasis, Pheasent Run, the Trailer Park, and one stop on Wapsi Ave.
