Charles Andrews, 51, of Nichols, died suddenly Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A time of remembrance will be held 2 p.m. Sunday July 1, 2012, at the family home 1089 180th Street, Nichols, Iowa. The Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hendersonbarkerfuneralhome.com. A memorial fund in Charles’ name has been established, donations may be sent to the Henderson-Barker Funeral Home.
Charles was born Dec. 22, 1960, the son of William and Anne Anderson Andrews. He was a graduate of Camden, (N.J.) High School in 1978. He had served in the U.S. Army for 2 years. On Oct. 26, 2007, he was united in marriage to Corinna Marie Rokos in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
His work and second love was being an over-the-road trucker with Northridge Express in Clearwater, Minn.
Survivors include his wife, Corinna Andrews of Nichols; four children: Renee Andrews and fiancé Scott Ford of Chippewa Falls, Wisc., Sherlee (Doug) Ryan of Chippewa Falls, Wisc., Dakota Andrews of St. Louis, Mo., and Caitlyn Andrews of West Liberty; four step-children: Alexis White, Bradley Hunt and Brandon Hunt, all of West Liberty, and Brittney Hunt of Los Angeles, Calif.; grandchildren: Shelby Ryan and Eternity Osgood, both of Chippewa Falls; brother Frederick (Michelle) Stanley of Port Richie, Fla.; his sister-wife, Jennifer Leggett, and little homie Kaylynn.
He was preceded in death by his parents. |
