Jacob Schreiber, 13, of West Branch earned first place in the under-50 kilo weight class at the Team United Olympic Weightlifting meet in Waterloo on Saturday, Feb 13.
He competed under the eye of Phil Johnson, owner of Phil Johnson Strength & Conditioning, where Schreiber trains locally.
