Letter: Local pool puts it close enough for kids to walk
Op-Ed · September 28, 2017

My name is Anna Waterman. I am a seventh-grader at West Branch Middle School.

I am writing to you because I have some ideas for the newspaper.

I think you should keep all the articles in one place instead of doing “more about this on page three.”

You should also add comics to the newspaper, so kids will want to read the paper.

My favorite part about the newspaper is the sports articles because I like to hear what you have to say about the game.

Something that I wish West Branch had is a pool. I think West Branch should have a pool because there are some kids who can’t get to West Liberty without their parents to drive them, or their siblings. It would be a lot easier for everyone, too, because they could ride a bike or just walk to the pool.

They wouldn’t have to get in a car and drive to West Liberty or any other pool close to West Branch.

Sincerely,

Anna Waterman
