Speaking Volumes: Trouble with tablets? Lost in your laptop? Bring it in on Thursdays to get some help
Op-Ed · January 19, 2017

The West Branch Public Library has several events coming up over the next few weeks that I wanted to let you know about.

First, the library is beginning a weekly service that we’re calling Tech Help Thursday. It’s pretty simple. If you need help with technology, bring it in between 6 and 8pm on Thursdays and we’ll help you out with it. Laptops, tablets, phones, webpages, apps, documents, programs, or any other random gadget you might have. We’ll help you learn more about it and how to use it better.

Second, we will have another movie night for adults (age 21+) on January 20th at 7 pm. I can’t say in this article what we’ll be showing, but check wbpl.org for that and other event details. And last, but not least, Winter Adult Reading Month (WARM) will be running through February. All adults can register to read throughout February and earn prizes! Signup for WARM begins January 23rd at the library!

Now, a few recent additions to our collection: (KEY: (B) = regular print book, (E) = ebook, (L) = large print, (A) = audio book)
