News · January 12, 2017

On Monday, Jan. 16, the West Branch Board of Education will host a public tour of the high school, middle school and elementary school.

“This will be a time for the public to see our buildings as they are today, to look at proposed changes to the buildings, and to visit with the principals from each building,” Board President Mike Colbert wrote in an e-mail. “Our new school resource officer, Officer (Cathy) Steen, will try to join us (schedule permitting) at one building to introduce herself and be available for questions about her role.”

Colbert added that “since this is a school day and students will be in the buildings, this will be a guided tour and there will be restrictions on photography or video.”

Here is the schedule:

• High School - 8:45 to 9:15 a.m. tour starts in the commons. Q&A to follow from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m.

• 9:45-10 a.m. Travel to West Branch Middle School

• Middle School - 10 to 10:30 a.m. tour starts in the middle school lobby. Q&A from 10:30-11 a.m.
