Letter: Credit Library for outstanding ‘Misbehavin’
Op-Ed · July 21, 2016

All of us on the Hoover Campus are proud of the Prohibition Exhibit, “Ain’t Misbehavin?
The World of the Gangster,” and the Hoover Presidential Foundation certainly appreciates of the accolades from the Times editorial last week. However, I must point out where the real credit is due.

The curators facilities staff and archivists at the Hoover Presidential Library-Museum are the real heroes on this exhibit, and the ones deserving of all the accolades! Their design, construction, and portrayal are second to none.

The Foundation’s mission and role is to support the Library and Historic Site primarily with financial support to FURTHER the Library-Museum and Historic Site mission as their private, non- profit partner.

We are proud to support our partners on this outstanding exhibit!

I would encourage all readers to stop down at the Library-Museum and take a look for yourselves at this outstanding exhibit this summer, but no later than Oct. 23. And, while you are there, take a stroll through the Herbert Hoover galleries.

You will soon join the growing throngs that, upon visiting the Museum, make the statement, “I never knew that about Hoover!”
