Bernie Sanders coming May 29

Democratic presidential candidate Bernard “Bernie” Sanders will visit the home of David Johnson and Jennie Embree of West Branch 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 29, for a campaign party.
Sanders is expected to arrive shortly after the 7 p.m. start of the event, which will be held in the back yard at 326 North Fourth Street, and is expected to address participants.
The event is open to the public.
Sanders, 73, is a U.S. Senator from Vermont who ran for the seat as an independent, yet he announced April 30 he would run for president as a Democrat.
