Letter: WB a special place to work hard, gain respect

Editor’s note: This letter is in response to a photograph that ran on Page 6 in the March 19 West Branch Times.
I’m truly sorry for the choices I made involving the West Branch Bears Track and Field team picture.
My attention-getting act of putting “bunny ears” behind Coach Cottingham’s head was immature and uncalled for.
I hope moving forward this can be used as a learning experience for me.
West Branch is a special place for me. I will work hard to gain the town and team’s respect back.
In closing, I will learn from this and make you proud of me as a student/athlete.
