CJU45 places at W. Dubuque

West Branch High School's show choir, Christopher Jive and the Uptown 45, finished with second place in Class 2A and made the evening finals Saturday at the Western Dubuque competition.
"They did a great job," Director Chris Reed said.
Reed noted that only five show choirs make the evening finals and the competition was open to Class 1A through 4A.
CJU45 was in fourth place after the daytime/preliminary competition and then earned second runner up in the evening finals.
"So we moved up one spot, finishing higher than Western Dubuque, which is a 4A show choir," Reed said. "It was a great way to end our season."
