FFA travels to winter sports park to mingle by Emma Wright, FFA reporter · News · January 30, 2015
Ski Snowstar is a winter sports park in Andalusia, Illinois. FFA members had the choice to ski, snowboard, or go snow tubing.
Members had fun in the snow and also enjoyed refreshments from the ski lodge while getting to know one another.
The ski trip was just the start to the busy spring season for FFA members. They are set to host their annual Rocky Mountain Oyster Feed on Jan. 30 from 5-8 p.m. at West Branch High School.
They also have Subdistrict Contests in Muscatine on Feb. 16.
“FFA members appreciate the community’s involvement in the program. It means a lot when they see community members at the events that they participate in,” advisor Renee Thompson said.
