Gregoria E. Rocha, 82, of West Liberty passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014.
Funeral service were held Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, at the Independent Pentecostal Christian Church in West Liberty. Burial was held in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in West Liberty. Gregoria was born Nov. 17, 1932, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, the daughter of Rosalio and Socorro (Benavidez) Esparza. She was married to Lorenzo Rocha Ortiz on Sept. 24, 1949, in Durango, Mexico.
She retired from Louis Rich Foods in West Liberty after 19 years of service.
Survivors include three sons: Isidro (Jeanne Fuller) Rocha, Lorenzo (Enedelia) Rocha and Juan Jose Rocha; three daughters: Evangelina (Jose Luis) Garcia, Maribel (Angel) Montelongo and Isabel (James) Rocha-Hall; 27 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; four sisters; and three brothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lorenzo Rocha Ortiz; daughters Ana Maria Shryock and Maria Marcela Ramos; son Pilar; and 10 siblings.
Her laughter and love will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
