Robotics team gets $5,000

The West Branch High School robotics team earned a $5,000 grant from NASA this year to pay for the registration fee to enter this year's contests.
FRC Team 5041 mentor Matthew Cain, who also teachers Project Lead The Way classes, announced the news last week.
"For the second year we are the only team in Iowa to receive such funding from NASA and are the only one of 201 teams in the country who (received) this type of funding," he wrote in an e-mail to the principal and the superintendent.
