Vaughn E. Will, 84, of West Liberty died Tuesday Nov. 11, 2014, at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty.
A memorial service was held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, in the Melick Room at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty. A private family service and burial in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Muscatine will be held later.
Vaughn Elwood Will was born in 1930 near West Liberty the son of Arthur and Martha Kruse Will. He was a graduate of Nichols High School in the Class of 1948. Vaughn had worked at the West Liberty State Bank his entire life, where he served as the Cashier.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Muscatine and a founding member of the West Liberty Country Club. He enjoyed golfing and spending time at the club house, bowling and was a lifetime stamp collector.
Survivors include one sister, Darlene Thompson and her husband Michel Nickel of San Rafael, Calif.; nephew Alexander Thompson and his wife Rachel Lewis; two great nephews: Jacob Samuel Thompson and Nathan Arthur Thompson; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Frederick.
