Absentees ballots available

Absentee ballots are now available for the Primary Election to be held on Tuesday, June 3. Voting in office may begin April 24.


Voters may have a ballot mailed to them by filling out a form found at www.cedarcounty.org. For a Primary Election, it is required that the voter indicate if they want a Republican Party ballot, or a Democrat Party ballot.

Ballots must be returned by mail no later than midnight, June 2, and received no later than the beginning of the canvass by the Board of Supervisors on June 9. Hand-delivered ballots must reach the Auditor’s Office no later than 9 p.m. June 3. Voters may also vote by absentee ballot in the Auditor’s Office through June 2.
