Anniversary: Whitlatches mark 50 years together

Robert and Alice Whitlatch, Tipton, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 19 at the Badlands Golf Club in rural Tipton.
Family and friends are invited.
Mr. and Mrs. Whitlatch were married April 26, 1964, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Vinton.
The couple have 4 children: Sarah Gaeta, Oxford; Brenda Whitlatch, Iowa City; Melanie Janssen, Woodward; and Brian Whitlatch, Olin. They also have 6 grandchildren.
They are both active in the Tipton Lions Club as well as draft horses.
